We are a nonprofit organization that seeks to promote the art and excellence of watercolor painting. Our members include many watercolor instructors who teach at all levels, and artists who exhibit at prominent galleries, museums and in nationally acclaimed shows. Some serve as jurors; others give demonstrations and programs for art and community groups.
Featured Artist: Leigh Fulton
Leigh Fulton says "My paintings are reflections of places I've been in my travels around the world and experiences I hope to capture and revisit to keep those memories alive. I'm intrigued and fascinated by the play of light on architecture and in landscapes and that inspires me to paint those scenes in watercolor. Recently, I have explored painting interiors and still lifes and find them just as much fun and hope to focus more of my attention on them. Moving in new directions is a challenge and I think artists grow by accepting the challenge."
